Commercial License
FastBee-Arduino firmware is released under the AGPL-3.0 open-source license. This license requires derivative works to be open-sourced under the same terms. If you cannot or do not wish to comply with the AGPL-3.0 open-source obligations, you may purchase a commercial license to remove this restriction.
Platform-Side Licensing
This page only covers commercial licensing for FastBee-Arduino device-side firmware. For FastBee IoT Platform (server-side) commercial licensing, see Commercial License - Platform.
Personal & Commercial Use
Individual users can use this project for free, including learning, personal DIY projects and non-commercial experimentation.
The following scenarios constitute commercial use and require a commercial license:
- Pre-installing the firmware into hardware products sold externally
- Using it for enterprise projects, commercial products or paid services
- Delivering it as part of an integrated solution to clients
- Using the firmware for business operations without releasing derivative source code
